The Kenwood Publishing Group is a publishing arm of Matthew 25: Ministries. The Kenwood Publishing Group primarily makes available books from CEO Tim Mettey. Currently, the Kenwood Publishing Group is publishing Tim’s The Hero Chronicles series. Additionally, the Kenwood Publishing Group recently released Giant Journeys: Becoming an Ironman by Douglas W. Thomson.


 

Book Releases

Secrets, the first book in The Hero Chronicles series, was released at the beginning of November 2012.

Trust, the second book in The Hero Chronicles series, was released October 10, 2013.

Fear, the third book in The Hero Chronicles series, was released October 10, 2014.

Power, the fourth book in The Hero Chronicles series, was released December 15, 2015.

Elle and The Escape, a spin-off from the popular The Hero Chronicles series by Tim Mettey, was released in October 2016.

The Authors

 

Tim Mettey

Tim Mettey serves as CEO at Matthew 25: Ministries, an international humanitarian and disaster relief organization. Tim uses his many experiences and expertise in responding to disasters around the world to set the background for his The Hero Chronicles series.

Tim struggles with and has overcome multiple learning disabilities with reading and writing to create this series. He is an advocate for literacy and education worldwide and hopes his journey can be an inspiration to others. He says, “Our disabilities do not define who we are, they make us stronger.”  Tim is happily married to his wife, Lesleigh, and is the father of six beautiful daughters.

Douglas W. Thomson

Douglas W. Thomson has been on the Board of Directors and Secretary of Matthew 25: Ministries since its inception. A life-changing experience was a mission trip to Nicaragua after the conclusion of its civil war. In addition to participating with Matthew 25: Ministries, Mr. Thomson is also the owner of several businesses. He has served as Mayor of the City of Milford and as general counsel to a high technology company. Mr. Thomson received his undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University, his J.D. from Ohio Northern University and his MBA from Xavier University.

Mr. Thomson has been happily married to his wife, Gretchen, for 33 years and they have three children, Joshua, Emily and Samuel.
