Procter & Gamble has been a valued corporate supporter of Matthew 25: Ministries since 2005. Since that time, our collaboration has continued to grow so that P&G is now one of Matthew 25: Ministries’ largest disaster response partners.
In 2012, P&G began partnering with Matthew 25 on a mobile disaster relief program. As a company committed to being a force for good and a force for growth, P&G believes they have a responsibility to give back to the communities where their employees live and work and to make every day better for people around the world. P&G knows that after a natural disaster, their brands can play an important role in helping provide the comforts of home and bringing a sense of normalcy to those who need it most. P&G provides product donations from brands such as Always, Bounty, Crest, Secret, Pantene, Pampers, and more. Kits are distributed by Matthew 25’s Disaster Response Team following mid- and large-scale disasters in the U.S. and internationally. P&G also sponsors a co-branded, customized panel truck used to provide P&G kits and products as well as additional disaster response supplies to areas in need.
Most recently, in collaboration with P&G and Walmart, Matthew 25 has added shower trailers to their fleet of vehicles to provide disaster victims with the opportunity to feel rejuvenated and refreshed during such a difficult time of recovery. Since 2012, P&G and Matthew 25 have partnered on more than 100 disasters in response to hurricanes, tornadoes, storms, earthquakes, volcano eruptions, tsunamis, flooding, droughts and wildfires across the U.S. and internationally, helping millions of people coping with the aftermath of a catastrophic disaster.
Through collaborative partnerships like those with Matthew 25: Ministries and Walmart, which also provides location support during deployments, P&G is able to broaden their community outreach by bringing the comforts of home to victims affected by natural disasters throughout the U.S. and worldwide.
