Countdown To Race Day

HUNGER 5K LITENOV 5th, 2022at 8:30AM

The Hunger 5K Lite is a fun, family-friendly way for people of all ages to help those in need. Proceeds benefit Matthew 25: Ministries’ work with the poorest of the poor and disaster victims in Greater Cincinnati, throughout the U.S., and around the world. The race also kicks off the Hunger 5K Food Drive, which raises food products for local pantries and shelters.

Since the race began, over 1 million pounds of food has been distributed to people in need in Greater Cincinnati.

This year we will be hosting the Hunger 5K Lite, with all the fun of our typical race, plus some added safety measures to protect the health and wellness of everyone. The run/walk portion will be the same – come out with your friends and family and enjoy a 5K course through Blue Ash! After the race, we will welcome participants to pick up a complimentary bagged lunch, snacks, and refreshments to help recharge.

In order to protect the health and safety of everyone, we will not be having our usual post-race party and awards ceremony this year, but we will have plenty of snacks and refreshments available. After the event, we will mail awards to the first three male and female finishers (based on gun time) and the top three runners in each age-category (based on chip time). No awards will be presented at the time of the race. Thank you for participating in this year’s Hunger 5K Lite!
