MATTHEW 25: MINISTRIES IS RESPONDING TO FLOODING IN WEST VIRGINIA

 


In Partnership with Procter & Gamble and Walmart, Matthew 25 Will Provide Essential Supplies and Services to Communities Impacted by Widespread Flooding


June 17, 2025, BLUE ASH, OH –– Matthew 25: Ministries, a humanitarian aid and disaster relief organization headquartered in Blue Ash, OH, is responding to severe flooding resulting from heavy rain across parts of West Virginia including Wheeling, Triadelphia and Valley Grove. Torrential rainfall over the past several days caused flash flooding and damage to homes, infrastructure, and essential services. Additional rainfall is forecast for today and tomorrow, potentially worsening already dangerous conditions.

In partnership with Procter & Gamble and Walmart, Matthew 25: Ministries will deploy their Disaster Response Team tomorrow, June 18, to provide essential services and supplies to impacted communities. Matthew 25 will provide free laundry services via the Tide Loads of Hope Mobile Laundry Unit, free shower services, and will distribute critical relief items to households in impacted neighborhoods. Relief supplies will include essential items such as personal care and hygiene products, cleaning supplies, paper products, and first aid kits to assist families and individuals in the recovery process. Matthew 25’s disaster relief resource map, detailing locations where people impacted by the flooding can access services and relief supplies, is available at https://m25m.org/resourcemaps/. Matthew 25 will continue working with area partners to assess areas affected across West Virginia and to determine ongoing needs.
