MATTHEW 25: MINISTRIES IS RESPONDING TO THE AFTERMATH OF THE WIDESPREAD TORNADOES AND FLOODING THAT IMPACTED PORTIONS OF THE MIDWEST AND SOUTH LAST WEEK
In Partnership with Procter & Gamble, Matthew 25 is Deploying to Provide Critical Relief Supplies and Services to Impacted Communities
April 9, 2025, BLUE ASH, OH –– Matthew 25: Ministries, a humanitarian aid and disaster relief organization based in Blue Ash, Ohio, is responding to the aftermath of devastating tornadoes and flooding that affected parts of the South and Midwest last week. Portions of several states including Ohio and Kentucky have experienced historic flooding. New Richmond, OH experienced its worst flooding in over a decade, with the Ohio River cresting above 60 feet earlier this week, and Frankfort, KY experienced similar devastation from the Kentucky River. These areas and many more have been hit hard by catastrophic flooding and wind damage, causing widespread devastation to homes and businesses, making roads impassable, and leaving residents without access to essential services like utilities and communication.
In partnership with Procter & Gamble, Matthew 25: Ministries is deploying their Disaster Response Teams to impacted areas to distribute rapid response relief supplies such as personal care items, cleaning products, and baby supplies and provide laundry services throughout affected locations with the Tide Loads of Hope mobile laundry units. Matthew 25 is continuing to work with our partners in the widespread disaster area to evaluate current needs and determine how we can help as many people as possible.
“We are deeply concerned for the residents of all impacted areas throughout the South and Midwest, who are impacted by these catastrophic storms,” says Tim Mettey, CEO of Matthew 25: Ministries. “Our teams will be on the ground in some of these areas, working to provide immediate relief and ensure that those affected have access to essential services and supplies. With the support of our partners at Procter & Gamble, we are committed to providing the critical services and supplies that will help these communities begin the recovery process.”
