NOVEMBER 18, 2022 Blue Ash, OH – Tim Mettey, CEO of top-ranked humanitarian aid and disaster relief organization Matthew 25: Ministries, has been named to Ohio Business Magazine’s inaugural “Ohio 500” and Cincinnati Magazine’s “Cincinnati 300” lists of the most influential and impactful leaders helping shape Ohio and Cincinnati today.
These lists highlight business leaders who are making a difference in the region and state, and Tim’s leadership of Matthew 25: Ministries is certainly bringing positive change to people throughout Greater Cincinnati, Ohio, and beyond. Under Tim’s leadership, Matthew 25: Ministries has grown significantly, now shipping out more than 15 million pounds of aid each year, helping over 20 million people throughout the United States and worldwide. As CEO of M25M, Tim has initiated many of Matthew 25: Ministries’ key programs including their Disaster Response program, the Grow Right Micronutrient Supplement program; several in-house manufacturing and recycling programs; micro-enterprise programs; economic development programs; health and wellness programs; and more. Tim also advocates for premium benefits and equal wages across all age, ethnicities and gender demographics. Additionally, Tim is a top-ranked teen and young adult author.
Tim learned to value and lead a lifestyle of service from an early age. As the son of Rev. Wendell Mettey, Founder of M25M, he had frequent opportunities to travel to Nicaragua, immersing himself in the culture and the environment to aid the less fortunate. Tim attended the University of Cincinnati, before developing a number of entrepreneurial businesses. Tim began working at Matthew 25: Ministries in 2003 and has advanced through various roles within the expanding organization, up to his current position of CEO.
Matthew 25: Ministries works with corporations to reduce waste by saving products from the landfill, saving corporations money, helping the environment and most importantly caring for those in need. So far in 2022, Matthew 25: Ministries has shipped approximately 23 million pounds of aid to partners throughout the U.S. and around the world, helping people in need due to extreme poverty or catastrophic disaster.
