An Essential Part of the Volunteer Experience
Part of the volunteer experience at Matthew 25: Ministries includes a tour of our Global Village—a life-size, three dimensional recreation of disaster scenes along with examples of poverty in the U.S. and in developing countries.
Visitors of Matthew 25 can tour this interactive display, gaining a greater understanding of poverty and the need for help around the world including examples of impoverished living conditions with a specific focus on American Indian reservations, Appalachia, and a developing country garbage dump. Volunteers can also view recreations of the devastating effects of natural disasters—floods, tsunamis, earthquakes, hurricanes and other disasters to which Matthew 25: Ministries has responded.
In addition to touring our Global Village, we encourage visitors and volunteers to explore our newest feature, The Missionarium. Guests can immerse themselves in the lives of those Matthew 25 serves by watching local artisans at work, or experience the environment of areas we serve around the world by walking the streets of a developing country.

The Global Village tour is temporarily closed.
GLOBAL VILLAGE MARKET
Our Global Village Market expanded in 2019. The Global Village Market features handcrafted goods from areas we serve, including Haiti, Nicaragua, and Puerto Rico. Find the perfect gift for your loved ones, or a keepsake for yourself. Proceeds benefit our work with those in need.
In order to best protect the health of our staff and volunteers during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Global Village Market will be closed to volunteers and visitors beginning January 7, 2022. We will reopen to volunteers on Monday, January 31.
