Is Today Tomorrow?
“Daddy, when are we leaving on vacation?” my daughter asked.
“Tomorrow,” I replied.
Very early the next morning she came into my bedroom and softly rubbed my cheek until I opened my eyes. “Daddy,” she whispered, “is today tomorrow?”
CONSIDER how to children it must seem that life is a never-ending series of tomorrows. Everything that is wonderful and exciting is always tomorrow.
The good news is that God has given us a wonderful and exciting look into tomorrow. The Book of Revelation says that tomorrow is a place “Where God dwells with His people and His people with Him; a place where God wipes away every tear from their eye; a place where there is no more pain….”
Even though we all face various challenges and pain today, God promises something different tomorrow. He tells us there will be a time when there are no more tears or pain. There is a day ahead when all sorrow will be gone. Tomorrow is truly wonderful and exciting.
“He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.” (Revelation 21: 4)
