Pray for Haiti

Haiti is coping with an escalated humanitarian crisis after President Jovenel Moïse was assassinated in an attack on his home in a suburb of Port-au-Prince on July 7th. Reports state that a group of individuals attacked the president and the first lady, Martine Moïse, at their private residence. Violence and political unrest have continued to tear the country apart for years, and this latest attack will intensify an already critical situation.

Please keep the people of Haiti in your hearts and prayers during this time, as well as the family of President Moïse. We have many friends and partners in Haiti that we’ve worked with for a long time. Their reports on the situation are heartbreaking, as the country faces extreme poverty and hunger, escalating violence, rising COVID-19 cases, and now increased political instability.
