MATTHEW 25: MINISTRIES HAS SHIPPED
MORE THAN 265,000,000 POUNDS OF AID

More than 265 Million Pounds of Humanitarian Aid and Disaster Relief Delivered to Those in Need Since 1991

FEBRUARY 23, 2022  CINCINNATI, OH –  Matthew 25: Ministries, an international humanitarian aid and disaster relief organization located at 11060 Kenwood Road in Blue Ash, OH, has shipped more than 265,000,000 pounds of aid since 1991.

During a trip to Nicaragua in 1990, Founder Reverend Wendell Mettey felt compelled to help the people of Nicaragua after seeing the devastating poverty conditions. Upon returning to the United States, Reverend Mettey began collecting products from corporations and distributing the products to those in need.  His experience in material handling enabled him to develop an efficient system to rescue and reuse food, clothing, personal care, cleaning, medical and educational supplies which were off-spec, over-stocked, or unable to be sold for other reasons, and distribute these products to people in desperate need.

Since its founding in 1991, Matthew 25: Ministries has grown from a small suitcase ministry into an international humanitarian aid and disaster relief organization distributing more than 15 million pounds of products and helping more than 20 million people each year locally, nationally and internationally.

In 2021, Matthew 25: Ministries shipped more than 975 containers of humanitarian aid and disaster relief. These shipments included over 19 million pounds of desperately needed items such as clothing, medical supplies, personal care items, COVID-19 supplies, household items, and more.

“Our distributions of supplies have helped hundreds of millions of people in need here in our own community, throughout the U.S., and around the world,” says Matthew 25: Ministries’ CEO Tim Mettey. “We are so very thankful for the generous financial, product, and volunteer support we receive from people, businesses, and organizations who have chosen to partner with us to care for those in need.”
