TO THE GOSHEN, OH TORNADO

Matthew 25 Disaster Response Team is Providing Relief Products to Those Impacted

JULY 7, 2022  Blue Ash, OH Matthew 25: Ministries, an international humanitarian aid and disaster relief organization in Blue Ash, OH, is responding to the tornado that hit Goshen Township on Wednesday afternoon, July 6th. Matthew 25 is committed to providing support to their community of Greater Cincinnati throughout the year and is assisting with the aftermath of this storm which has devastated neighborhoods so close to home. The Greater Cincinnati region was swept by heavy rainfall and strong winds throughout the afternoon and the Goshen area was among the most severely hit. The storm left thousands of residents without power and caused extensive damage to homes and buildings with Goshen’s downtown area experiencing the most damage. The city’s fire department took a direct hit from the tornado resulting in the roof being torn off.

Matthew 25: Ministries’ Disaster Response Team plans to depart for Goshen Township around 1:00 PM this afternoon to deliver humanitarian aid to residents impacted by the storm. Matthew 25 is providing items such as personal care supplies, paper products, cleaning supplies, first aid supplies, and more to assist people in need.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the people of Goshen as they begin their recovery process. Our team will be responding today to the Goshen area with supplies for those affected,” says Mathew 25’s CEO Tim Mettey.” The Greater Cincinnati community generously supports our work throughout the year by volunteering, donating products, and giving financially. We are honored to give back to our community by helping our friends and neighbors close to home.”
