MARCH 16, 2020 Cincinnati, OH During times of disaster and/or humanitarian need, Matthew 25: Ministries is always planning and preparing to be able to respond in the most effective manner. As part of their disaster preparedness program, Matthew 25 has measures in place to assist the local community as well as organizations who are caring for those in need during this time.

Today, March 16 at 1:00, Matthew 25: Ministries’ Disaster Response Team is beginning relief efforts in response to COVID-19. Matthew 25 will be working to assist local partner organizations who are serving at-risk populations including the elderly, the sick, and the impoverished.  Their team will be distributing desperately-needed supplies such as hand sanitizer, sanitizing wipes, paper products, and other items to nursing homes, assisted care facilities, and more.

Matthew 25: Ministries is carefully monitoring officials’ reports regarding the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). The health of Matthew 25’s staff, volunteers, donors, and the people they help is their top priority.  In order to best protect the health of their staff and volunteers, Matthew 25: Ministries has suspended volunteer hours at their facility until further notice. Matthew 25 is accepting product donations during the business hours of 8:30am – 4:30pm Monday through Friday.  Matthew 25 will continue to share the recommendations of the CDC, the Ohio Health Department, and other officials as information becomes available.
