UPDATED SATURDAY, OCTOBER 29, 2017 08:24 PM EST

Matthew 25: Ministries is responding to the devastating wildfires that are ravaging parts of California. The wildfires have destroyed nearly 7,000 structures and is one of the worst fire outbreaks in state history.

Our Disaster Response Team departed on Wednesday, October 18 with our fleet of specialized vehicles. The first semi of aid arrived in California on Monday, October 23. The truck contained personal care items, first aid supplies, paper products and diapers. The team is distributing supplies and offering laundry services to wildfire victims. The team will also continue to assess needs and meet with partners to lay the groundwork for future shipments of aid.
