SOUTHERN TORNADO OUTBREAK 2011

In a span of just four days from April 25-28, 2011, more than 350 tornadoes tore through the United States taking the lives of hundreds of people and causing $12 billion in damages—making it the worst and most costly tornado outbreak in U.S. history. While most of the destruction was in the South, parts of 21 states from Texas to central New York were also affected. Debris was found over 200 miles away from where the tornadoes struck.
