TEXAS FLOODING 2019

UPDATED FRIDAY, OCTOBER 4, 2019 3:30 PM EST

Matthew 25: Ministries responded to massive flooding resulting from Tropical Depression Imelda.  The tropical storm made landfall on Tuesday, September 17, and lingered over the Gulf area, causing incredible flooding in much of the region. Some areas recorded more than 40 inches of rain, approaching the records set during Hurricane Harvey in 2017.

Matthew 25’s Disaster Response Team deployed to Texas to provide laundry services and distribute relief products. In total the team completed more than 300 loads of laundry and distributed nearly 800 first aid and safety kits, 400 personal care kits, 2,500 rolls of paper products, and additional supplies including cleaning products, diapers, detergent pods, and bug spray.

Donors who would like to designate their financial gifts for Flood Relief may do so by writing “Texas Flooding” in the memo line of their check or by typing it in the “special purpose” field of our online giving form.  Please mail checks to Matthew 25: Ministries, 11060 Kenwood Road, Cincinnati, OH 45242.  100% of donated funds designated for Texas Flooding will be used for the purpose intended.
