In August 2017, Matthew 25: Ministries’ responded to Hurricane Harvey, one of the worst flooding events in U.S. history, with up to 50 inches of rain in some areas. There were thousands of water rescues, and approximately 7 million people affected by the flooding. Our Disaster Response team was deployed throughout affected areas to distribute relief aid including personal care products, cleaning supplies, baby items and more. The team also provided laundry services for those affected by the hurricane.

Matthew 25 continues supporting our partners serving areas impacted by this devastating event, as families continue their struggles to recover and rebuild after the storm.

Five years after Hurricane Harvey hit Rockport, Texas, Jessica and her family are still recovering from the effects of the disaster. With the help of our wonderful donors and volunteers, Matthew 25 helps provide hope and aid to people like Jessica! This video represents just one example of our work in motion and the amazing impact we can have together on individuals and families here in the U.S. and around the world recovering from devastating disasters.
