In Partnership with Procter & Gamble, Matthew 25 Provides Relief Products and Services to Impacted Areas


SEPTEMBER 30, 2022  Blue Ash, OH Matthew 25: Ministries, a humanitarian aid and disaster relief organization headquartered in Blue Ash, OH, is deploying their disaster team and fleet to the areas impacted by Hurricane Ian. Ian made landfall in Cayo Costa, FL as a Category 4 hurricane on Wednesday afternoon with maximum sustained winds near 150 mph.

In partnership with Procter & Gamble, Matthew 25: Ministries’ Disaster Response Team and fleet will be departing for Florida in three waves over a three-day period beginning Saturday, October 1st. All deployments will launch from Matthew 25’s main campus and will depart at 9:00 AM.  The Response Team will distribute essential products and provide needed services throughout the impacted areas. Matthew 25 will also meet with partners in the area to assess ongoing needs and set up future distribution channels.

The Disaster Response trucks are loaded with P&G Personal Care Kits, household cleaning supplies, baby items, bottled water, and additional items including first aid and safety supplies provided by Cintas and tarps provided by Lamar. Matthew 25 will also deploy two Tide Loads of Hope Mobile Units that can complete up to 300 loads of laundry a day, an Ice Unit that can produce up to 10,000 pounds of ice a day, the Duracell PowerForward truck equipped to carry as many as 20,000 Duracell batteries as well as on-board charging stations for mobile devices, and a Clean-Up Trailer equipped with tools and other supplies to help those cleaning up their homes and properties.
