In Partnership with Procter & Gamble, Matthew 25 is Deploying their Disaster Response Team Along with Tide Loads of Hope to Provide Rapid Response to the Impacted Area

JUNE 17, 2023 Blue Ash, OH Matthew 25: Ministries, a humanitarian aid and disaster relief organization headquartered in Blue Ash, OH is responding to a destructive tornado that struck Perryton, TX on Thursday, June 15, leaving behind an 8-mile trail of devastation, causing several fatalities and injuring dozens.  The tornado was part of a large and dangerous storm system that triggered severe thunderstorm warnings for more than 21 million people throughout the South and Midwest, and east into the Florida Panhandle. More severe storms are expected Friday in some of these same areas.

In partnership with Procter & Gamble, Matthew 25: Ministries is deploying their Disaster Response Team on Sunday, June 18 along with Tide Loads of Hope to provide laundry services to people impacted by the tornado and to distribute supplies such as P&G personal care kits, baby supplies, paper products, Zevo insect repellant and additional supplies including garbage bags, cleaning supplies, first aid and safety supplies provided by Cintas. Additionally, Matthew 25 will deploy the Duracell PowerForward truck equipped to carry as many as 20,000 Duracell batteries as well as on-board charging stations for mobile devices, and a Clean-Up Trailer equipped with tools and other supplies to help those cleaning up their homes and properties. While there, Matthew 25 will conduct damage assessments and communicate with partners in the areas to evaluate how they can best serve the ongoing needs of the disaster region.

Matthew 25 is also requesting monetary and product donations to supplement existing supplies and for restocking during their response to this current and future disasters. Product donations will be accepted at our facility located at 11083 Kenwood Road, Blue Ash, OH 45242.

Matthew 25 responds to disasters domestically and internationally and provides both rapid response and long-term support. In 2023, Matthew 25 has responded to disasters including the U.S. Tornado Outbreak, Mississippi tornadoes, earthquakes in Syria and Turkey, the East Palestine train derailment, and is continuing response for the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine. Matthew 25: Ministries has shipped over 16.5 million pounds of supplies in 2023, including more than 7 million pounds of disaster relief, and helped approximately 19 million people.
