MATTHEW 25: MINISTRIES RECEIVES
SUPPORT FROM BEYGOOD FOUNDATION

BeyGOOD Foundation has Partnered with Start Small to Provide Aid to People Suffering From the Effects of Coronavirus

APRIL 27, 2020  Cincinnati, OH Matthew 25: Ministries, an international humanitarian aid and disaster relief organization headquartered in Cincinnati, OH is among the organizations selected by the BeyGOOD Foundation, in partnership with Start Small, as a recipient of support for COVID-19 relief.

BeyGOOD has announced a largescale plan of support to alleviate the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in partnership with Start Small, donating $6 million to aid organizations that are addressing urgent needs in the hardest hit areas. The selected nonprofits are on the ground 24/7 to provide food, water, cleaning supplies, personal protective equipment, meals and other items for those in need. Without these basic necessities, stress, anxiety and mental burdens for both caregivers and recipients are accelerated.

“We are so grateful for the support of BeyGOOD and Start Small during this time of urgent need,” says Tim Mettey, CEO of Matthew 25: Ministries. “With all of the incredible support we’ve received, we are able to get critically-needed supplies to frontline workers and caregivers throughout the U.S., including those serving impoverished, higher-risk communities. The people who need help the most are often those who have the least resources and these are the people Matthew 25: Ministries helps every day.  We are honored that BeyGOOD and Start Small are placing their confidence in us to help our healthcare workers and at-risk populations stay safe.”

Since beginning COVID-19 operations on March 16, Matthew 25 has distributed over 650,000 pounds of aid to more than 500 dedicated organizations throughout Greater Cincinnati and the US.  Many of these organizations, including first responders, police and fire departments, hospitals, home healthcare agencies, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, homeless shelters, rehabilitation facilities, low-income schools, and other organizations provide care for our most under-served and at-risk populations.
