TEXAS TORNADO 2023

Matthew 25: Ministries responded to a destructive tornado that struck Perryton, Texas on Thursday, June 15, 2023 leaving behind an 8-mile trail of devastation, causing several fatalities and injuring dozens. The tornado was part of a large and severe storm system that triggered dangerous thunderstorm warnings for more than 21 million people throughout the South and Midwest, and east into the Florida Panhandle.

In partnership with Procter & Gamble, Matthew 25: Ministries deployed our Disaster Response Team along with Tide Loads of Hope to provide laundry services to people impacted by the tornado and to distribute supplies including P&G personal care kits, baby supplies, paper products, Zevo insect repellant, garbage bags, cleaning supplies, first aid and safety supplies provided by Cintas and more. Additionally, Matthew 25 deployed the Duracell PowerForward truck equipped to carry as many as 20,000 Duracell batteries as well as on-board charging stations for mobile devices, and a Clean-Up Trailer equipped with tools and other supplies to help those cleaning up their homes and properties.
