Matthew 25: Ministries responded to Hurricane Francine which made landfall near Cocodrie and Morgan City, Louisiana on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, as a powerful Category 2 hurricane. With wind speeds reaching 100 mph and heavy rainfall, the storm left a trail of extensive destruction in its wake. While Francine has now downgraded to a tropical depression, those affected are grappling with immediate safety concerns, including flooding, fallen trees, power outages, damaged buildings, and compromised infrastructure.

In response, Matthew 25: Ministries shipped essential supplies, including personal care products, baby supplies, paper products, insect repellant, and more, to aid recovery efforts in the affected area. Matthew 25 shipped nearly 35,000 pounds of aid to those impacted by the storm.
