HURRICANE SALLY 2020

UPDATED TUESDAY, DECEMBER 15, 2020 11:38 AM EST

Matthew 25: Ministries is responding to Hurricane Sally, which made landfall near Gulf Shores, Alabama, early morning on Wednesday, September 16 as a Category 2 hurricane with maximum sustained winds of 105 mph. Coastal areas saw devastating amounts of rainfall, causing widespread flooding. More than 500,000 homes and businesses were without power in southern Alabama and the Florida Panhandle at the height of the storm.

So far, we have shipped 5 truckloads of aid to partners for distribution throughout the widespread disaster region. Relief supplies included personal care products, cleaning supplies, paper products, batteries, blankets, and more. We will continue shipping aid to partners as long as our help is needed.

Donors who would like to designate their financial gifts for Hurricane Sally Relief may do so by writing “Hurricane Sally Relief” in the memo line of their check or by typing it in the “special purpose” field of our online giving form. Please mail checks to Matthew 25: Ministries, 11060 Kenwood Road, Cincinnati, OH 45242. 100% of donated funds designated for Hurricane Sally Relief will be used for the purpose intended.
