SOUTHEAST TORNADOES 2018

Matthew 25: Ministries responded to storms and tornadoes that swept through the Southeast on March 19th, 2018.

“Matthew 25 has forged partnerships in the past that we will reach out to again now,” says Matthew 25 CEO Tim Mettey.  “We are fortunate to have access to partners with real-time information that will help our team respond to severely damaged areas quickly.  Our thoughts and prayers are with all those affected by these storms.”

Our Disaster Response Team deployed to the affected areas and provided aid to communities of Jacksonville, Rainbow City, and Southside, Alabama, as well as Fairburn, Georgia. In total the team distributed 190 personal care kits, 145 first aid and safety kits, 330 rolls of paper towels, 990 rolls of toilet paper, 540 detergent pod samples, 75 bottles of all-purpose cleaner, 275 garbage bags, and 35 tarps.
