Matthew 25: Ministries is responding to devastating flooding that occurred in the Northern Midwest at the end of June.  Historic flooding deluged portions of Nebraska, South Dakota, Iowa and Minnesota. Thousands of homes and buildings were destroyed, hospitals and healthcare facilities were forced to evacuate, powerful water flows collapsed a bridge and endangered a dam, and cities were left without power or clean water during a bout of severe and extensive flooding in the upper Midwest. Almost 3 million people have been impacted by the flooding, from Nebraska to Minnesota. Compounding the situation, the temperature in some communities hit by flooding neared 100 degrees during the week.

In collaboration with Procter & Gamble and Walmart, Matthew 25: Ministries deployed their Disaster Response Team along with a selection of vehicles including a Tide Loads of Hope Mobile Laundry unit, a shower trailer and a co-branded panel truck.  The team provided essential services including laundry and showers, and distributing supplies such as P&G personal care kits, baby supplies, paper products, Zevo insect repellant and additional supplies including garbage bags, cleaning supplies and first aid and safety supplies provided by Cintas to areas impacted by the flooding.
