OKLAHOMA TORNADOES 2023

UPDATED FRIDAY JANUARY 5, 2024 2:13 PM EST

Three people were killed in McClain County, Oklahoma when severe thunderstorms, hailstorms and tornadoes swept through several regions of Central U.S. on Wednesday, April 20, 2023. Central Oklahoma was hit particularly hard, with tornadoes tearing down power lines, knocking over trees, and damaging homes and businesses.

Matthew 25 shipped truckloads of relief aid including tarps, batteries and powerbanks, bottled water, food and serving supplies, blankets, hygiene and cleaning supplies, baby supplies, paper products, bug spray, and more to the disaster region to help meet the immediate and ongoing needs of those impacted and will continue to do so as long as partners have needs and Matthew 25 is able to meet those needs efficiently and effectively.

Matthew 25 responds to disasters domestically and internationally and provides both rapid response and long-term support to areas impacted by disaster.
